A Summer Summary After A Holiday from the Blog

Posted by: Heidi Nyline

It's nice to be missed.

All summer long I have been getting emails and messages wondering why I haven’t been blogging. The simple answer is I’ve been too busy to write. Not only do I blog but I am also one half of Warline Painting and running a painting company in the summer is all-consuming.

A painting company in Vancouver that isn’t busy in the summer doesn't work outside. The short window for exterior painting season in Vancouver means if mother nature isn’t kind meeting timelines and staying on schedule can be a nightmare. I often wonder how much easier it would be to run a painting company in somewhere like Scottsdale. I definitely wouldn’t miss the rain.

Thankfully, we have had a really nice and dry summer (after a slightly wet start in June) and we seem to be blessed by an equally nice September. We aren't done our exteriors yet so keep your fingers crossed for me that this weather holds.

But it is September, which means its time to get back to writing and I have a ton of really good information to share. We’ve been testing new products, new colours and new strategies for helping homeowners choose the perfect paint colours for their houses. I have also been casing my neighbourhood and promise to restart Not So Nice in My Neighbourhood. I have a some goodies.

Stay tuned and check back and I promise you’ll be getting more of Warline Online.

Hope you’ve been having a great summer too. The photos here are a few sneak peaks at some of the projects we’ve been working on this year. Like I said, we've been busy.
